I just got done installing these on one cylinder.
Honestly, pulling the nose bowl was the most time consuming part of the job. I only have three engine hours since the installation but so far no leaking at all.
Per the STC, you want to order a tube of Permatex "Ultra Copper" orange RTV (specifically), and a tube of Dow DC-4 or some similar assembly lube.
The spring compressor is definitely just a Briggs & Stratton part! I ended up buying it from Spruce because I didn't know better at the time.

I modified a GM door hinge spring compressor I had from years ago. Works great!

Thanks for the info. Since everything will be removed, I will have all push rod tubes replaced.

I have them on my plane and they work, no leaks, but do not buy the tool from real gaskets, it is a Briggs and Stratton valve spring tool and you can get it from amazon for about $12.

Buddy and I did it last summer, all 8 tubes in 2 days. Definitely buy their spring compressing tool. We also used an interior tube cutter, no mess and Easy to cut out old tubes.

My A/P installed the Real gasket tube kit on my C85 a couple of years ago. Stopped the leaks. My white cowling no longer has oil streaks every time I fly.
